Ocean Crawler, a small American watch brand based out of Rochester, New York just announced their next dive watch, the Ocean Crawler Core Diver. Set to be released the middle of this month (September 2018), the teaser images they’ve posted so far on their social media caught my eye.

Ocean Crawler Core Diver Blue

If you haven’t heard of Ocean Crawler before (this is actually my first time coming across their watches, don’t know how I missed them), they aim to produce high-quality, high-end dive watches at a relatively affordable price point. Focusing on reliability, durability, accuracy, and style, Ocean Crawler has a pretty unique line up of watches

Ocean Crawler Core Diver Blue-Orange

The Ocean Crawler Core Diver has a vintage-diver aesthetic to it, coming on a classic cushion watch case. Other notable features include 60 ATM (600 meter) water resistance, 4.0 mm sapphire for both the bezel and the crystal, a helium release valve, and a Sellita SW200 automatic movement.

This is definitely a seriously built diver – the specs at least are suitable for professional saturation diving.

So far Ocean Crawler has released photos of three variations of the Core Diver, blue bezel on blue dial, blue bezel on orange dial, and a blue/orange bezel with a blue dial.

No word yet on the expected price here, but most of Ocean Crawler’s watches sit around $1000, though they have released a $2500 watch in the past.

Since all of Ocean Crawlers divers are limited editions, if you’re interested in getting your hands on the Ocean Crawler Core Diver be sure to sign up to their mailing list by heading right to their website here: Ocean Crawler
