Diver News from around the Web
WatchTime Magazine put out a couple of fun dive watch related articles over the last week:
A brief look into seven watches with extreme depth limits: the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea, Breitling Superocean Chronograph M2000, Blancpain X Fathoms, Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon DeepQUEST, Deep Blue Depthmaster 3000M, Hublot Oceanographic 4000, and the UTS 4000M Professional Diver.
Several of these watches have made it onto my list of the best dive watches, period. I’m still working on that article, trying to make it the best resource available for people looking for absolutely fantastic diver’s, regardless of price. Should be posted here soon!
Obsessed with watches? WatchTime released some very pretty photos of famous diver’s, sized for use as wallpaper on your desktop. The shot of the Tudor Heritage Black Bay is my favorite of the bunch.
OceanicTime has the scoop on the latest model from Prometheus Watch, the Poseidon 3500 Yellow. Same specs as their steel and bronze versions that came out a bit ago, the 3500 Yellow comes with the first 15m on the bezel marked in bright yellow, and a yellow second hand. It’s a very bold watch and I love the look of it.
